V/A The Birth Of Trojan (Duke Reid Rocksteady 1967)

El disco de hoy se trata de un recopilatorio de las 22 primeras canciones (11x2) que edito la Trojan en 1967 de la mano de Duke Reid. En el podemos encontrar Rocksteady a saco, en artistas como Tommy McCook & The Supersonics,Alton Ellis, The Jamaicans o Roland Alphonso. El CD (la portada de la izquierda es de este) se edito en 2002, y hara unos meses Sanctuary Records que fue lo que compro la Trojan edito una caja con 11 eps reeditando esto mismo (os pongo una foto mas abajo de la caja). Os recomiendo encarecidamente que si podeis, consigais esta caja ya que aparte de que esta bastante cuidada, es historia de la musica jamaicana. Como es logico, todas las canciones tan producidas por Duke Reid.
